Molecular Diagnostics
The molecular pathology department is an advanced integral component of diagnosing infectious diseases with more precision. We are providing RT PCR, histocompatibility, and genetic testing. We work with our international partners to cover Next Generation Sequencing which gives us the ability to sequence multiple targets.
Xray
Our radiology department is one of its kind, equipped with two X-Ray machines, operated under the supervision of professional radiographers. This latest Digitally Computerised Radiology CR Equipment aims to provide specialised high quality and accurate results, enabling extremely high throughput. These equipment’s allow us to perform:
- – Imaging for gastrointestinal studies (e.g., Barium Swallow and Follow-Through)
- – Urological assessments (e.g., Micturating Cystourethrogram)

Cardiology
Our Cardiology Department provides high frame rate Tissue Doppler images and Pulsed-Wave-TDI traces for a precise timing of cardiac events in both visual and quantitative formats. Additional services include:
- – Multi-lead electrocardiogram for comprehensive heart rhythm analysis
- – Detailed echocardiographic imaging to evaluate heart function
Ultrasound
Another important facility of our Radiology Department is modern ultrasound, which offers a versatile range of examinations including the imaging of the smallest of the body parts. Using advanced imaging such as Superb Micro-vascular Imaging (SMI) that provides better border definition and clarity of structures for confident diagnosis. D-THI overcomes the limitations of conventional Tissue Harmonic imaging by providing improved visualisation and definition of lesions, cysts and subtle tissue while scanning at increased depth and on difficult-to-image patients. Color Doppler Echocardiography
At Karachi Laboratory Diagnostic Centre, the ultrasound department is equipped with state-of-the-art Colour Doppler Equipment. A team of experienced medical professionals carries out various procedures including Echocardiographs & Vascular Studies for various organs of the body. Apart from the routine ultrasound of body vessels including carotid and peripheral lymph vessel, we are also providing Obstetrical Doppler, along with Anomaly Scan and Fetus Gender Reveal.
